Time Standard: Eastern Standard Time (EST), permanently fixed at UTC–05:00, with no adjustments for Daylight Saving Time or any other time-change system. This fixed UTC–05:00 standard is the sole legally controlling time zone for all deadlines, interpretations, notices, and obligations under these Terms, regardless of user location or local timekeeping practices.

Controller & Operator: 冷z LLC (legally registered; pronounced “Leng Z LLC”), doing business as “Chill Zone” (trade name only; not a separate legal entity). For absolute legal clarity, “冷z” and “Leng Z” refer to the same legal entity without exception.

1. Purpose of this page

This page is provided for transparency and clarity. It explains, in plain language, how disputes between you and Chill Zone are generally resolved under our Terms & Conditions.

2. Agreement to binding arbitration

Subject to any non-waivable rights under applicable law, most disputes arising out of or relating to your use of Chill Zone are resolved through individual, binding arbitration, rather than in court.

Arbitration is a private dispute-resolution process in which a neutral arbitrator, rather than a judge or jury, decides the dispute.

3. Waiver of court proceedings and jury trial

By using Chill Zone, you agree to waive the right to have disputes decided by a judge or jury in court, except where such a waiver is prohibited by law.

4. Class-action and collective-action waiver

Disputes must be brought on an individual basis only. You may not participate in any class action, collective action, representative action, or mass arbitration against Chill Zone, except where such restrictions are not permitted by applicable law.

5. Arbitration rules and location

Arbitration is conducted under the rules specified in our Terms & Conditions, typically administered by a recognized arbitration provider such as the American Arbitration Association (AAA), unless otherwise stated.

The seat, venue, or governing jurisdiction of arbitration is defined in the Terms & Conditions.

6. Exceptions and preserved rights

Certain disputes may be excluded from arbitration where required by law. For example:

Claims that qualify for small-claims court (where legally permitted);
Requests for injunctive or equitable relief relating to intellectual property or licensing violations;
Any rights that cannot be waived under mandatory consumer-protection laws.
