Time Standard: Eastern Standard Time (EST), permanently fixed at UTC–05:00, with no adjustments for Daylight Saving Time or any other time-change system. This fixed UTC–05:00 standard is the sole legally controlling time zone for all deadlines, interpretations, notices, and obligations under these Terms, regardless of user location or local timekeeping practices.

Controller & Operator: 冷z LLC (legally registered; pronounced “Leng Z LLC”), doing business as “Chill Zone” (trade name only; not a separate legal entity). For absolute legal clarity, “冷z” and “Leng Z” refer to the same legal entity without exception.

This Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions, Licensing Agreement, and Acceptable Use Policy. Where provisions overlap, the interpretation that most strongly protects Chill Zone’s rights applies, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I. Ownership of Chill Zone content

All content made available through Chill Zone — including audio, music, soundscapes, wallpapers, artwork, designs, branding, text, graphics, code, and related materials (collectively, “Chill Zone Content”) — is owned exclusively by 冷z LLC (“Leng Z LLC”) or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

No ownership interest is transferred. Access and use are permitted only under a valid license or other express authorization from Chill Zone.

II. Prohibited infringing conduct

Except as expressly permitted by an applicable license, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, create derivative works from, scrape, automate access to, or otherwise exploit Chill Zone Content.

Unauthorized use may constitute copyright infringement, breach of contract, or both.

III. DMCA notice procedure

If you believe that content available through Chill Zone infringes your copyright, you may submit a notification under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)) containing the following:

• Your full legal name and contact information;
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
• The exact URL or sufficient description of the allegedly infringing material;
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized;
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf;
• Your physical or electronic signature.

IV. Counter-notice procedure

If you believe content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice containing:

• Your legal name and contact information;
• Identification of the material removed and its prior location;
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification;
• A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate U.S. federal court;
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, Chill Zone may restore the content as required by law unless the original complainant initiates legal action.

V. Repeat infringer policy

In appropriate circumstances, Chill Zone may terminate access or accounts of users who are determined to be repeat copyright infringers.

VI. Enforcement and remedies

Chill Zone reserves the right to take any lawful action to protect its intellectual property, including content removal, access restriction, account termination, and pursuit of legal remedies.

VII. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy at any time. Updates become effective upon publication with a revised effective date.
