Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

Effective date: 01 January 2026

Time Standard: Eastern Standard Time (EST), permanently fixed at UTC–05:00, with no adjustments for Daylight Saving Time or any other time-change system. This fixed UTC–05:00 standard is the sole legally controlling time zone for all deadlines, interpretations, notices, and obligations under these Terms, regardless of user location or local timekeeping practices.

I. Scope of the statutory right of withdrawal

The statutory right of withdrawal applies only to customers who:

• are physically located in the EU or EEA at the time of purchase; and
• qualify as “consumers” under EU law (acting outside their trade, business, craft, or profession).

Business customers, commercial purchasers, and non-consumer users are not entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal under EU consumer law.

II. Withdrawal right for physical goods

If you are an eligible EU/EEA consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract for Physical Goods within 14 days without giving any reason, unless a statutory exception applies.

The withdrawal period expires:

• 14 days from the day you, or a person you designate (other than the carrier), receives the goods; or
• for multiple items delivered separately, 14 days from receipt of the final item.

III. Digital goods and loss of withdrawal right

For Digital Goods (including downloadable audio files, soundscapes, loops, wallpapers, and other digital files), EU law permits the withdrawal right to expire early if specific legal conditions are met.

Your statutory right of withdrawal ends once:

• digital content delivery has begun; and
• you have given prior express consent to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery begins.

Chill Zone generally supplies Digital Goods immediately after purchase. Where legally required, we obtain your express consent and acknowledgment at checkout.

IV. How to exercise your right of withdrawal

To exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision before the withdrawal period expires.

Your notice must clearly state your intention to withdraw and identify the affected order. You may use the model text below, but it is not mandatory.

V. Effects of withdrawal and refunds

If you validly withdraw from a contract for Physical Goods, we will reimburse payments received for the affected items, including standard delivery costs where required by law.

Refunds are issued no later than 14 days from receipt of your withdrawal notice. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or proof of return, whichever occurs first.

VI. Return of goods and responsibility

Returned goods must be sent back within 14 days of your withdrawal notice. Unless otherwise required by law, you bear the direct cost of return.

You are responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to assess the nature and functioning of the goods.
